I realize that the Niners are our former division rivals (they were in my day).
But for the last decade its been the Hawks and will remain that way until further notice.
Yes, Jimmy G is playing well and the Niners seem much improved and have won 4 in a row.
But......they are playing for nothing. There is no pressure on them or him. No one has any meaningful film on the JG led Niners. But after Sunday there will be plenty of film for DCs togain a handle on how you best play him (for next season).
Don't forget that JG is throwing plenty of INT's to go with thoseTDs in 4 games. Let's face it, 5 TDs in 4 games is nothing to write home about especially when you have 3 INTs to go along with it. Extrapolate that to 16 games and you get 20 TDs and 12 INTs. Not great. Compare to the 2nd year player Goff with 28 and 7.
And Jimmy G is hardly a rookie or a kid. He's been in the league 4 years....he's 26 years old......and has the good fortune of playing behind one of the greatest QBs, and for one of the greatest HC's, of all time.
Bottom line: Seahawks are still going to be the Rams greatest rival and threat until they're not.
