He had little vision, and played a bit like he'd given up: just tuck his head and run into the pile for a 2y loss, when maybe he could have bounced it outside (as he did to deadly effect yesterday). I'm perfectly fine knocking the coaching and line for it, but his loss of productivity was also on him. It's true he had a bad line, but he did well DESPITE running behind a below average line on his rookie year. We can knock the coaches for 2016, but... 2015 he was under the same HC.
Something stoked the fire back in Todd, and I'm in the mood to credit McVay after seeing the overall effect on this team this year. Everyone else is also playing up.
