I admit we don't know exactly what is being said. But Goff himself has said that McVay will give him the play and then tell him things like "Look for Woods deep on this as he's going to be open if you get a Quarters look from the D". I can't even imagine how much this must help a 2nd year QB to develop and succeed even if only to validate what the young QB is already thinking.
That this issue is being characterized by some dumb ass failed player as unethical and cheating is beyond laughable.
