Giants went on the road on a Sunday night game....having lost their top four receivers to injury...and put a beat down on the Broncos. So of course given the recent history between Rams/Giants many are convinced this resurging Rams team will fall victim to the same circumstance as the Broncos.

The one difference is offensive balance. The Giants had done their homework and realized the Broncos have zero passing game. So they loaded up on the run and badly exposed the Broncos. The Chargers did the same thing to the Broncos the next week and pitched a shutout.

While the Giants are anemic on offense....their defense is quite good. Unfortunately the Giant defense is always on the field

Earlier this season teams opposing the Rams were loading up on stopping Gurley....so Goff started off the year with freakish stats (recall he had one of the top QB ratings after two or three weeks). At the same time many were wondering if Gurley is ever going to break out. Once teams realized Goff isn't the 2016 Goff.....they had to pull back a bit off the run-focus. Once Gurley started facing defenses which were balanced......he started shredding them.

While Goff hasn't been horrible in the past few weeks....he hasn't produced the gawdy stats he did in weeks 1-3.

I don't think the Giants defense can stop the Rams if they take a balanced approach. So, I expect them to load up on Gurley and take their chances on Goff showing up.
