it was the players that weren't able to execute... specifically Quinn, Ogletree, and Barron. They were really, really bad. So, it may be another draft and some pick ups in Free Agency to fix this. Too early to say. This current D was built for speed, but they're very light in the britches. So if you can't use your speed to get around their blocking schemes, you're going to get trucked a lot... see the Redskins game. The skins used a lot of 2 and sometimes 3 TE sets, and just walled off, or completely obliterated our front 7.... and shocking how easily they made it look.
