As stated by me many times, the QB & by extension a teams true ability to pass the ball effectively to win games comes down to two factors, both predicated on throwing the ball WHEN THE DEFENSE KNOWS YOU HAVE TO THROW THE BALL: 1) Can you convert 3rd & longs. And 2) Can you move the throw the ball in the final 2 minutes of a half? Of the game?
The above two situations have as many ch or more to do with who wins football games than most any other situations.
You can see already that around the above situations McVay will be able to scheme things to help Jared produce and Goff has shown the ability thus far to function well in PS games.
Can Goff drop back repeatedly late in halves & games and make correct decisions with the ball? Get it out on time with accuracy under duress?
These are his and McVay's next big challenges. Stay tuned...
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
