While I agree zn, at what cost to the Rams? We really do not have any idea what's been offered ,and I'm not even sure of the opt out clause so It really is all speculation at this point. I do know this though, 20 million a year will have a ripple effect on future players and their contracts. One question that I have is has there ever been an NFL contract with an opt out clause? It has really been the hot ticket for NBA players but their money is almost all guaranteed so only counts for cap purposes year to year. Do not think that the NFL could survive fully guaranteed deals more than year to year or maybe 2 years . Baseball is a prime example of horrible deals with guys hurt making 15,20,million a year for years without ever playing again. Can't see it with 53 players but who knows.
