Right, his salary is low this year but Rams have already went much higher on that. But from another article the Rams hold control the next two years. If he holds out his salary will still be $1.5 million the 4th year and $8 million the 5th. If he holds out for 2 years and then comes back, Rams should still have years 4 and 5. He will cost himself money in the long run. The agent will get a bad reputation and players will stop using the agent. The agent is gambling that Rams will cave. But the Rams have the leverage on Donald and the agent. If Donald skips this year and had to play in 2018 for$1.5 million minus the fines.And then if he got hurt in 2018. What players would ever use that agent again? Game of poker. I call the agent bluff.Maybe that is what Rams have done.
