Personally, I'm on the fence on him. Thought we overdrafted him, but was excited about the prospect of what he would be capable of as a Returner/RB/WR. For me, it never materialized under a Jeff Fisher coached team. But then, a lot of things never materialized under his leadership. I digress. I also think we should have not given him that huge extension, obviously.
But I felt the same way about Laurinaitis that some feel about Tavon now. I always felt I needed to defend what he did, on a lot of horrendous teams. Didn't see the vitriol others had for him... still don't get it. Really don't care to rehash that debate again.
But I think you should be able to state your opinion on players/coaches/ownership no matter how strongly you feel about it. Others have and still do. As one of my life long mentors used to say to me every once in a while.... "don't let them get your peter draggin' in the dirt". I took a lot of flack from a great many on this board about my criticisms of Coach Fisher, when I was done with him about midway through his 3rd season.
I didn't find your post offensive or over the top... it's your opinion. Don't necessarily agree with it, but I can understand it. Tavon is a frustrating player for me to watch, because I see the potential, and sometimes poor judgement he makes on the field.
