I don't think anyone on this board understands why the Rams FO decided to reward him with such a huge contract.
But the guy is a dynamite player that has played in a historically awful, backward, offense since he became a Pro.
Have you heard one bad thing about him on or off the field?
The poor guy injured his wrist and had surgery.
The poor guy has tweaked a hamstring.....even great players do that occasionally and hamstrings can be pretty difficult.
I can understand why some would rather relieve the Rams of his salary. And they likely will next year unless he blows the doors off the league in 2017 (but not likely with the acquisition of Watson and Kupp). But to think he's useless and not worth a uniform? That's not only pretty caustic that doesn't even reflect reality. The dude is one of the few people the Rams have had that actually scores TDs . And he's done it as a WR, a RB, and as a PR. He's scary with the ball in his hands because with one missed tackle he can go the distance on any given play.
I just hope something can be arranged to get his salary into a more appropriate level after 2017.
