The new D is more secondary focused than Dline focused.
This team is not going to live and die according to Aaron Donald's play.
That said, he is a unique talent and of course his presence makes the D better.
And, holdouts of star players are just a fact of life in the NFL. They come and they go; the holdout is huge news until the player eventually shows up. Both sides forgive and everyone moves on and a few games later the holdout becomes a distant memory. Doesn't make it right; and some holdouts are more understandable and others more aggregious than others. But even that is in the eye of the beholder as all the AD threads on this board demonstrate.
