Well let's look at how Websters defines weapons.

So if we translate that to the football field, we could say a weapon is a player that is used for inflicting damage or gaining an advantage against the opponent.

Can we agree on that? Great

Weapons on offense come in many different forms, the problem is most people are being very shortsighted when defining weapons as they relate to the Rams.

A player that is capable of making "clutch" catches key first downs, plays that extend drives...is a weapon.

A player that is capable of making other players better...is a weapon

Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp are weapons.

I consider them both to be "playmakers" capable of inflicting damage to a defense.

Defenses fear "playmakers" because they make plays that prevent them from doing their job.

The job of a defense is to force a turnover or a three and out to get their offense more opportunities to score.

If an offense (Rams) has playmakers that hinder the defenses ability to do its job...that is a weapon.

Chain movers that can extend drives put a strain on a defense. The more snaps a defense has to defend, the more they wear down.
