Even Gurley, who I'm optimistic about (along with all of our new pieces on offense), is a relatively unknown quantity given his lackluster performance last year.
The way you defined 'weapon' is basically 'guy who plays offense that I feel good about'. I think what most people mean when they define it is 'guy who plays offense, whose talents are exceptional enough that defenses must specifically account for them in their gameplanning'.
Again, I'm optimistic too, but you'd have to be looking at this team through Rams-colored glasses to expect anything more than a modest improvement on offense this year. These things take time.
That being said, I'm 100% sure we nailed all our draft picks, and McVay is going to turn Goff into the next Aaron Rodgers this year.
