Sounds like Vinny has seen enough with his own eyes to judge the offensive talent as another dink & dunk show in 2017.
Basically his early judgement from the sample size a week before the first preseason game, is enough to tell fans to expect more of the same from what we all witnessed in 2016.
He's basing this on the offensive personnel lacking explosion and play-makers from what his eyes have seen in the early part of training camp.
He's hinting that Gurley might rebound and some of the WR's should have better hands but there is nothing that McVay can do or game plan with the sub-par overall talent level.
He could very well be right and not many would be totally stunned but until we see the 2nd, 3rd & first quarter of the 4th preseason games, Vinny might be underestimating McVay's ability to work with the so called underwhelming pieces he has on offense.
I'm sure he's making an educated guess and I believe he's being honest, but he also could be putting the........
Cart before the Carriage at this early stage of McVay's first training camp.
