Re: Off to the lake but first, a preseason question...

So here's mine.

I think we need to find out what we have behind Goff, and we need Shawn to get some traction with the ones in Goff's limited time in the first couple of games. Do we have a backup or not? I'd like to see any and every flavor of this O line develop the semblance of a push. I'd like to see the new O draft picks get significant playing time with both QBs. I'd like to see Todd sit two games, get some work in by the third and sit again for the fourth. I'd like to see players across the board play with passion, whether they are in for two plays or two quarters, whether they are starters, backups or just dudes trying to make a team- I want to see this new culture I've been reading so much about.

Guess what I really want to see is how this Coach operates and if his message resonates. Will a preseason game give me any of that? Well, it will point to some traits, just as it did with every other guy that has held the title. You are and will be judged by your actions. All of them. Including Preseason Games. I look forward to it. This season just might be fun.
