I have a feeling that AD has his sights set higher, which is why a deal remains unstruck.
Some team out there is willing to pay Donald more, I suspect. Maybe a lot more. Donald probably thinks so too.

Somehow, some way, the Rams have to give AD his big contract extension while at the same time leaving cap room for other needed contributors.
Perhaps $18-20 million per for 5 years with $60 million guaranteed, as dz and I suggest?
That could be a win-win, don't you think?
