I would not be all that upset that say in training camp , some 4-3 team with a DE injury problem reaches out and willing to give up a high pick for him comes a long , that they would consider it. Wade will have a good rotation plan if that were to happen

Personally, I would be upset at them doing something like that.

No they can't replace a healthy Quinn with just a "rotation." There's a reason that pass rushers of his caliber are rare.

If the injury diminished his abilities, then who would trade for him?

If he can play, who would trade him away? This defense is based on pressure.

...

I think Wade is hoping that Quinn can rejuvenate his career like DeMarcus Ware did when he came to the Broncos from the Cowboys.
It bothered me last summer that Quinn was allowed to go to the Olympics to see his sister compete. Where was his commitment to the team?
That whole training camp had no intensity about it. No urgency and it showed in the 1st game against San Francisco. That I lay at the feet of Jeff Fisher and his coaching staff.

Grits

It did not bother me personally in the least that Quinn went to see his sister in the Olympics and it did not lead me to question anything about him.

The fact that the training camp was lacking I attribute more to the move, which took a lot out of the team, from players on through to the coaches. It was far more disruptive than many people acknowledge. In fact to me that entire part of 2016 is the big, unacknowledged elephant in the room. To me it was one of the many causes that ganged up to make 2016 a unique year. A lot of what went wrong in 2016 belonged only to 2016. Which is why I generally just plain do not agree with anyone who reduces the failures of 2016 to one or two causes. It was far more than that.
