Separate conversation I guess...but I agree with that, though nothing I say here applies to 2016, which was its own thing.

From 2012-15 they played with relatively healthy decently exeperienced OLs about 16 games out of 64. (2015 the OL was both very inexperienced and had a long series of injuries too.)

From 2012-15 they started a #1 caliber qb in 27 games (I count 4 games for Foles).

The number of games where they had both things? 17 out of 64.

When they could, that Rams team showed, yeah, it could be competitive.

As for people who say good coaches should overcome those things? Name me examples of teams that had both extensive OL issues (due to multiple injuries and/or raw inexperience) AND started #2 caliber qbs...and did well.

Now whether JF was ideal, or made all the right moves (Quick? Cook? Britt)...he still fielded a competitive team, when it had the conditions to play (that is namely a relatively healthy OL and a #1 caliber qb).

Either way the 2017 team has a lot more talent already there than the 2012 team did, and for that we should be grateful IMO.
