I agree with your take 100% and would like to add this to it in regards to a comment in the original post: 'Snead linked every draft pick to a coach.' To me this seems like nothing more than sharing the success with the folks involved rather than patting himself on the back. I find it an admirable trait when a leader deflects praise to those that work for him and work with him ... and that's all I see in Snead's comments.
