To me there's just no point in acting like saying one thing detracts from the other.
In fact I could say all the same things about Bulger I said about Green, and for that matter Everett too. Put them in the right circumstances and they could quarterback teams that could go the distance---as in "you can win with this guy."
How does that take anything away from Kurt? Why would anyone think it did?

another red herring. Not saying anything I've said about Green takes anything from Kurt. That;s you misreading again.
My point is Green wouldn't have won Super Bowl with Rams. All other info was in support of that thesis. Has nothing to do with taking anything from Kurt.
It took time an deletions to get you to understand that my point was NOT in agreement with "everyone else". I am sure it will take time for you to understand that Green, IMO, wouldn't have won SB. Thus my original post.
That was simple 'Best thing that happened to Rams was Green going down". The logical and intelligent interpretation of that point, now that I have to explain it to you, is had be been QB we don't win Super Bowl.
And, as I proved to you, others disagree with that.
So, don't twist my point, again and again. You've done it twice in this very thread. It was 100% clear to normal readers I don't agree with others who think Green would have won SB or had same success as Warner
And that has nothing to do with taking away anything from Warner. It has to do with Green being oversold as something he is not. Like it or not, that's my opinion. You can disagree, I couldn't care less. But my position is well thought out, proven by supporting evidence and held by many smart people. Had Green had "it" he maybe would have won a playoff game. He didn't. Had he had "it" maybe he would have gotten to playoffs more with good teams in KC. He didn't.
But the number one thing is stop twisting my points.
