Right, wrong or indifferent ... Warner and Green ... because they were contemporaries whose stories cannot be told without the other being mentioned prominently ... will always be linked. And, quite often, compared.
Not only because they teammates whose fates are forever intertwined ... but because Green left for Kansas City to play for Vermeil and Saunders.
I take nothing away from Trent Green. Except putting him at the same cut-above level as Kurt Warner.
I don't agree that they will always be linked or compared. I think that may be in the eye of the beholder.
No one I read in this thread DID put him in the same cut-above level as Warner.
