I do not know law but here is where St Louis has point.
The NFL walks the line very closely with being Frauds, Using works like Guidelines which they completely ignored, but since it is called guideline, I guess they skate.
But the bottom line is the NFL was very dishonest and gave both written and verbal agreements that if St. Louis presented a good stadium situation that met criteria, than the team stays in St. Louis.
St. Louis did just that surprising the NFL. The NFL never thought St. Louis would make it happen, but the city executed and hit all the requirements.
The NFL never had any intention of honoring their verbal and written requests. So, I don't know if legally there is any recall, but ethically, there sure is. It is set up as a complete money grab and I know that is how business gets done sometimes, but at some point, I believe it crosses the line from hard core business and becomes FRAUD.
And that is what happened here which I believe the FRAUD that was involved gives the suit some foundation. Per common knowledge, this was in the works for years and at no time did St. Louis have any chance, but the NFL continue to play along with it, thinking that they wouldn't have to deal with a legit situation and than when they did, they said, great job but too bad. We got the kings ransom elsewhere.
