Like you, I see WR as a need position for the Rams. However, knowing that WRs who contribute as rookies are the exception I have little hope that a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) round WR will help the Rams much in 2017.
But I'm willing to listen: tell me why you expect a rookie WR to pass Bradley, Thomas, Cooper (4th round last year), and Spruce on the depth chart. (These are the guys that Ourlad's show as 2nd and 3rd string behind Woods and Austin. Also in the mix at some level: McRoberts, Shippen, and North.)
I keep coming back to the idea that players generally show the most improvement from their 1st year to their 2nd, and 6 of these guys were rookies last year ...
