I predict that we will all be impressed by the improvement of Higbee and Cooper, in particular, on this O under the direction of this new staff, leaf. It's all about this new staff on O in my mind. I don't think I can overstate it, frankly.
IOW, the development of those 2 players was hampered by the Fisher regime last year.
Spruce? I think he's a football player already. All he does is produce results. A guy that's easy to root for on Sundays. He might already be closer to his ceiling than Higbee or Cooper, but he can be very danged effective if utilized. And I think McVay and his staff are experts at proper player utilization.
Thomas? Not sure if his hands problem is coachable. Hope so, but he's gotta win me over at this point. 'Course, I'm notoriously "easy", huh?
I'm optimistic about our O improvement this year. New coaches and a lot of new players at new positions on O. Including anticipated WR and TE drafted by end of 4th round in a deep draft. What's not to like about that?
