I think Goff will take time to develop from a realistic point of view.
Best case scenario is he develops although be it at a moderate pace.
Worst case is he is overwhelmed and his confidence is shot.
Fantasy is he comes out in Warner-like fashion and sets the league on fire.
Kurt had the mind of a seasoned offensive coordinator and passing game guru so he was a perfect fit for Mike Martz and GSOT.
Jared is a young man with very little pro experience.
We shall see.
Grits
He played 7 games his rookie year. He's got to improve if he wants to stick. But.....
he's playing in a new offense and even when Eli (who also played 7 games his rookie year) got to year two, he didn't light it up. 8 of his first 9 games in year two, he completed less than 55% of his passes and 4 of those were under 50%. Still the Giants went 11-5 and made the postseason. It helps to have a RB gain 1800 yards (Barber), a good TE (Shockey) and two good receivers (Plexiglass and Toomer). If we're not expecting Warner II and we're realistic....2017 ain't the big year.....then this kid might not disappoint.
