No. For one I think the new offensive scheme and inevitable personnel decisions on the OL will help him quite a bit. But also Gurley is motivated because this year he is playing for his 5th year option (2019), which is about $9.1M.
Not to mention the cap hit ($8.2M) of trading him now. If he somehow doesn't bounce back he'd be easier to trade in 2018 because another team would only be on the hook for him for one year.
