sorry about that!
i think you have a little more to go on that just 4 games. gurley has been a stud his entire career. from hs to georgia to the 10th pick in the draft to offensive rookie of the year. while i acknowledge the possibility he is jag, it seems unlikely. the aberration would appear to be 2016 and not the other way around. and what we are getting from multiple sources is that the offensive scheme was pedestrian and/or poorly executed. id take my chances betting on a guy who has been a stud his entire life as opposed to an offensive coaching staff that have proved next to nothing in 5 years.
i was. again, my apologies.

I'm just busting your chops for confusing wording. I'm just tired of Gurley living off of that first 4 games. At this point, it's just as possible that he surprised people initially but they've caught up to him. I don't hope that's true and I agree that it's very difficult to tell about Gurley because of all the other circumstances but I haven't seen anything special from him in a long time so I have to consider the possibility that he's JAG.
It was just one year earlier when I thought Zac Stacy was going to be a solid starter because of some isolated success. Can't just assume Gurley will be anything great because of some early success.
I assume you were combining thoughts on Bettis and Gurley and not actually calling Gurley a HOF RB?
