I simply said give them more than one opportunity to succeed..... or fail.... before judging them.
This would obviously imply placing trust in them. Or are you trying to say you endorse giving somebody who has been an abject failure to date and who you couldn't see your way to trust, more opportunities?

Also you have odd measure of consistent losing...
The Avalanche has made the playoffs in 12 of its 14 seasons in Denver and defeated the New Jersey Devils in June 2001 to win the Stanley Cup, the second in franchise history (1996). The Avalanche won a record nine consecutive division titles from 1994-95 to 2002-03 and sold out 487 consecutive home games from 1995 to 2006, the longest recorded streak in NHL history.
The Nuggets returned to prominence with a remarkable turnaround under Mr. Kroenke's leadership and are one of only four NBA teams to make the playoffs in each of the past seven seasons.
The Mammoth has been a playoff participant in seven of its eight seasons and won the NLL championship in 2006.
Well, some people may considering only measuring that which actually belongs to Kroenke an odd measure. I don't. Kroenke didn't assume ownership of the Avs until 2000, so unlike you I'm not including 1994-2000 in that measurement. And of course, the Avs were arguably the best team in the NHL over that period, winning their division all of those years, making it to the conference finals in all but one of those years and winning a Stanley Cup in those years. That was a great team he bought, and they won the Stanley Cup again the year he bought them. They remained a good team for a few more years, but they have steadily declined during his entire tenure as owner to the point where they have been one of the worst teams in the NHL over the last decade.
This will mark the 4th consecutive year the Nuggets have had a losing season and failed to make the playoffs in a league where almost everybody makes the playoffs. He did actually make a good hire with George Karl who made the team competitive for a long stretch, though they failed to make it out of the first round of the playoffs in all but one season during Kark's years. Overall the Nuggests are barely above .500 under Kreonke's ownership. Not exactly a success story.
His Lacrosse team? Really?
In any case, by any meaningful measure, what Kroenke has demonstrated is that he can buy a championship caliber team, but he has not succeeded at building and maintaining one of his own.
