I remember Dan Shonka telling me that GRob was a high risk player and he had him rated behind Matthews and Lewan because of it.
Dan thought that Fisher would certainly go with Matthews over GRob if he wasn't talked out of it by Snead. Dan said Fisher has always been big on his past connections to players and families, evidenced by his affinity for ex-Titan players.
I'm not defending Fisher here, but I am saying that wanting to retain Snead thinking he has done a good enough job is wrong. I think Snead is in way over his head as a GM.
