He's been an OC since around 2007-2008 (if memory serves) I think at this point he feels he's paid his dues.

He won't want to be under his dad.

I think he wants to run the show and make his own name far removed from his dad.

He might be ready to.

This regime change is key being so close to the new stadium. I'm not so sure that Stan would want to hand over the keys to his flagship to a first time head coach or someone moving up from the college ranks for the first time.

I would think he would want someone with HC experience at the NFL level, but also someone that will field an exciting offense. And more importantly, someone that can develop his prized QB.

And I know we disagree on this, but I just think Gurley can thrive in Shanahans one cut and go system. That's why I think the combo of Mike and Kyle makes sense to me. Mike Shanahan is also close to Jeff Fisher which could be good and bad.

I guess we'll soon see. But it's been fun guessing.

Go Rams!

I would be right there with you (although cautiously) IF Kyle was a bit more green at the position.

Any coach that has been a coordinator for as long as he has, is looking for the next frontier.

They would have to give him a promotion to make that work, what did you says, OC.Ass't HC?

Good thoughts though!
