I believe Todd Gurley will thrive in Shanahans' one-cut system. Looking at TG's highlights, many of his long runs came from one cut and go. And the Shanahans are the masters at the ZB scheme.
And Kroenke is close to Broncos owner Pat Bowlen and Broncos GM John Elway. Broncos coaching tree is alive and well right now so plucking the Broncos coaching tree makes sense.
Plus, Kyle might be a hot coordinator right now, but might not be ready for his own gig. So coaching with his dad again might just be what he needs to take over in a few years. I still remember Falcons scoring all those points on our vaunted D with their top two producers out. They even had a practice squad receiver starting and having success against us. Kyle might be able to get more from our current receivers also.
