Again, I don't blame the players one bit, I would do that exact same thing. In fact I'd argue that it is the most sensible thing to do.
And I know there are a lot of factors that go into a players decision. Of course.
Jenkins wanted the cheddar, and it was pretty clear he wanted to get "bid on". And lets face it the Giants were SPENDING this past offseason.
I'm glad for him. He was in a low paying deal because he fell in the draft. His signing bonus was double or triple what he earned in 4 years.
Donald is going to present the same issue. His deal is a lot larger than Jenkins because of the draft slot obviously.......but the demand is going to be WAY higher.
A lot of teams are going to be gunning for his services and I just can't see a player giving a home town discount and leaving millions and millions on the table. If I was his agent I'd advise him to hit the market Reggie White style.
