Jenkins was going to test the market no matter what

December 13, 2016 08:53AM
The Rams made an initial offer and he was "insulted", he actually didn't even negotiate with them he tweeted that the offer was an insult and he shut down communication for the rest of the year.

He wanted to get to free agency and cash in. Who wouldn't.

And as I have been saying, get used to it. The new CBA means guys who are playing good football on inexpensive contracts are going to want to get paid. That's WHY they play.

Sometimes you just can't outbid teams. Trust me when ADonald hit the market several teams will be bidding and the price will end up being more than he is worth like it usually ends up being and the Rams will have to make a decision.
