And if that's the inside view then they are deeply divided on what even amounts to a decent analysis. To me that quote is from someone who is blind to the situation. And that can happen when you have internal civil wars. People can hold exaggerated, extremist positions.

This is being said, remember, by someone who is fine if they replace Fisher (as long as the choice is a good one). Whoever it is, their fate will be the same---Goff develops and they have a chance, he doesn't and they don't.
