I know what I saw with my own two eyes. Yes, I know as well as you they did hit on some big pass plays and even on those plays Keenum lofted the ball on a high arch. It took time for those balls to get there.
I also know that he threw more INTs then TDs in nine games.
I also know its the last ranked offense in the league.
Stats mean nothing. What about the Giants game? The way he floated the ball all game long made me think there was something wrong with his arm.
Fact is his arm is weak. He's not good enough to be a starter. He's proven that much in 9 games.
Grits
People who remember the misses only? The numbers do not support them. Their own eyes are misleading them. I have seen every single Rams game since I got direct tv more than a decade ago, and I trust my eyes, and I also know the numbers back me.
So either way, I got this idea about CK not from the numbers. The numbers just back it. I got it from watching him.
I know the percentages on hitting long throughout the league. I know the percentage of attempts thrown long look like throughout the league because it's something I paid attention to for years. Anyone who believes the Rams do not throw their share of 31+ yarders, regardless of the qb, is just not correct. It's that simple.
If Goff is better...which is possible btw...than it's a bonus, because it means he's better than someone who was already good at that.
And if he IS better btw, the numbers will show it.
