Keenum has no business being a starting QB in the NFL. It's a total waste of time using stats to evaluate his long ball ability. He stinks. Case closed. (pardon the pun)
Fisher is a shrewd manipulator and politician. The guys just knows how to survive better than any other coach (good or bad) in the history of the NFL. I caught myself underestimating his ability a few weeks ago when I overlooked how he would leverage Goff to keep his job for another year. And here he is doing just that. All Fisher needs now is for Goff to show flashes of promise and he buys himself another year. I think Goff would have to totally stink it up to the point where Fisher was forced to pull him, and put Keenum back in, for Fisher to be in trouble of being let go at the end of the year. Of course, Fisher is just delaying the inevitable. He just isn't good enough and will eventually be gone, but most likely not for another year. Only Jared Goff could prove me wrong. He will have to do what Dick Vermeil said. Goff will have to drive a truck over the Rams coaching staff and carry the offense. I have no idea if Goff is that good. We just gotta wait and see.
