That was about as legal as he could make it...he didn't lower his helmet, he didn't hit him in the head with his forearm, he kept his head up and lowers his shoulder and blasted him in his shoulder area.
Both those slo mo angles can't show if there was helmet to helmet because they are front and back views.... The only angle that could show it is that side angle and I just don't see enough, I do see the whiplash effect it had and it might look like he got hit in the head, but I don't think he did...he got hit hard and high but never targeted his head... Text book hit IMO.
But I do agree that something has to be done about the refs, they are ruining the game....last nights debacle was proof of how bad they are on national TV.
