I think that its hard to believe some of the winning coaches in the leagues have great staffs and seem to be able to work around personnel and also coach them up are not doing things differently than Jeff and are more in tune to their teams. Perhaps those are rare top third of the league if not top 25 %. Well if you can't win without a quality QB or one that is extremely seasoned an capable and surrounded with next level talent you are not going far.
Well I think the HC and staff have a bit more sway in the outcome.
We are sorta playing to the level of our coaching and are limited by it.
Our personnel decision set the table and our coaching philosophy prioritization are very much limiting us.
Fishers QB Philosophy sounds great because I remember when that was the natural rights of passage so intellectually it is recommended but in the era we live in most of the time you have to adapt to changing expectations in order to succeed.
He is not adapting therefore our trajectory is debatably changing. Perhaps drafting high has placed us on a slightly promising trajectory but to have failed this long so consistently you start to figure its not really random misfortune that is plaguing us.
