Well see that's an opinion.
What YOU are saying is that that opinion is "true."
What I am saying is, it's an opinion.
Is there ever a point when a label can be attached to someone? For example, when does a player get to be labeled as "good", or "bad", or a "bust", or "great"? Is there a point when a coach can be labeled, whether that's good or bad or average?
Of course. But there will also be gray area situations where people disagree on that.
None of that though has anything to do with what I am saying.
I said the raw averages of W/Ls hides the way Fisher's record consists of peaks and valleys. Coming, in part, from taking over two losing teams. You still have to look at contexts. Nothing in the world can erase that fact---contexts matter, hiding them distorts the picture.
