Oh yeah... it's turftime, should have known.
Was this supposed to be a 5-0 team right now???
C'mon, Rampage.
The Cowboys, Vikings, and Eagles are a combined 12-2. And all had a shaky QB situation as of opening day, to say the very least. All three certainly far more shaky than that of the Rams.
Yet all 3 are miles ahead of us. Maybe light years, even.
Any reasonable person would swap records and situations with any of them in a heartbeat. Including yours truly.
Don't let your fandom get in the way of your common sense, here.
Huh?? Common sense tells me 3-2 is a winning record. If we were 1-4 right now or even 2-3 this guy could throw around the "losing" word, but they're not. We're taking about the here and now, not last year... if the playoffs started today the Rams would be in them... common sense.
Don't let your disdain for Fisher cloud your view of what winning and losing is.
My "disdain" for Fisher isn't personal, Rampage. Quite the contrary. A personable local boy that starred at the local Taft HS and then at USC? Played in the NFL? On an incredible SB winning D? What's NOT to like? A Hollywood story in the making, huh?
It's strictly business, man.
He's been a below average HC for his entire Ram career. That's undeniable. And he has been for 15 0f his 21 year HC career. Seems foolish to think it's likely to change anytime soon.
We can do better. Much better.
The Eagles, Vikings, and Cowboys have dramatically shown us this year what might be possible with superior coaching.
And the sooner that Kroenke comes to that conclusion, the better. Only then can we hope to be in that perennial playoff club.
I know it stings, but I think it's true, nonetheless.
I consider myself as solid of a Ram fan as anybody. But at some point we have to address the elephant in the room, don't we?
