i pretty much agree with everything you just said although i dont recall the sensenbaugh thing.
i THINK the problem is that some people on here do pretend to "KNOW" whats going on, ignore any other possible explanation and use speculation by writers as "proof" for their theory when in reality the writer "knows" nothing more than we do and in some cases less.
in terms of goff and the offense. while I cant "prove" it i think the explanation is more simple then we pretend.
on goff: i THINK fisher is simply handling him like he has with every other rookie qb he had - slowly. history is a great predictor of future events.
on the offense: i THINK no defense respects CK and everyone is lining up to stop gurly. I think boras (myself as well) originally thought the line would still be able to open up enough holes, but that hasnt happened. the line is underperforming at the moment and boras has been slow to counter it. he even said as much after the first game. moreover, as you noted...things have improved to some degree since the first game, but even then CK is still missing some throws. add in that we played 2 tough defenses. its my hope that boras and company will continue to adjust. if they dont then perhaps peopel are right and their is a coaching issue. OR perhaps they get it working. but i dont it will every be a top 10 offense which i think also irks people..as is winning 17 to 14 is NOT really winning.

The hard data that we have is that our offense doesn't measure very well against other NFL offenses.
Is it lack of talent?
Is it poor scheme?
Is it a complicated, but good scheme, that will yield good results when the team finally gets it?
Is it a poor fit between talent and scheme?
Is it poor teaching?
Some combination of some or all of those things?
Does any of that have anything to do with Goff not being ready game 1, or is that just on him, or just on the Bear Raid being so different?
Lots of questions I won't pretend to KNOW the answers to. I really just want to see it get better.
In the meantime, I look for clues and I like to discuss them.
That one about Coty Sensabaugh calling out the offensive plays before the ball was snapped in OTA's was...interesting.
The way that the lousy 49ers seemed to know every play that we called in game 1 was dismaying.
What's happened since then is a little better, but not great.
