But Case Keenum is right there. I mean RIGHT there. If he says there's been a "lot of change and it's a lot to process", I think I have to believe it. Right?
You seem to imply this is a bad thing. If i misinterpreted than I apologize.
My response is that the offense from last year needed to change so I have no problem with introducing change even if its "alot to process". Im assuming perhaps incorrectly that CK is referring to the introduction of new passing concepts from groh within the existing. But your right, I dont know that for sure. Either way im unopposed to a change from last year.
the problem I have is that the author and many here seem to take this information and turn it into inept coaching. Again, it may be. But it may be other things. Personally, if its coaching...I suspect it will eventually leak out from a palyer or too.
No it was more than that.
Boras did not simply repeat Cignetti's offense---he changed it up to be his own.
Some of that doubtless came from Groh too.
How much did Boras change last year's offense?
I don't think anyone outside of the team really knows or can even offer a valid guess.
That did look a little out of sync to start the season. I have seen the same kind of out of sync-ness before when they changed coordinators and systems.
But that's just me sewing hunches to guesses.
But, yes, it is true the Boras changed things, and not just because of Groh.
