More nonesense for uninformed writers...
first off weinke wasn't "hired to be their new quarterbacks coach" he was the qb coach last year. This error makes the rest of the article suspect to me. Nevertheless, they did retain boras and hire groh. But what are all these "voices". Are the rams the only team with a qb coach and an oc? Isnt that the same exact situation as EVERY OTHER TEAM? if we didnt have a qb coach..im sure it would be pointed out that goff didnt have a dedicated qb coach. but whatever...
Now while not all teams of a passing coordinator its hardly a new position. so if you want to add a voice, its really a single voice. But how does the writer know that goff has more than one voice in his ear? he doesnt provide any evidence to support the claim. Ive heard it a few times now, but there doesnt appear to be any real evidecen tot he fact. Moreover the writer didnt even know that weinke is in his second year, but he knows wht goes on behind closed doors? i suspect he doesnt KNOW anything about the "coaching cocktail", but is simply guessing to as to why goff is not starting and despite actually WINNING the rams continue to struggle on offense. Is he right? i guess its a possibility..but its just as possible that the reasons have nothing to do with the coaching environment. but lets not let logic get in the way...its on the internet so obviously its true.
Yeah that whole premise was silly.
People will like it if they are predisposed that direction, which of course is hardly an endorsement of it's inherent value.
It;s worse than gossip.
