We all know Case isn't perfect. But he's 3-1 and overall going into last season has a nice starting record with this team. I think the guy's a backup, but he's our starter for now and is winning games and the offense is taking after him a bit, with a scrappy type of personality and it's nice to see.
I think Goff is going to be outstanding in this league. And the way I see it, in all of this back and forth the basic truth of things is this: we have a 3-1 starter and a backup who is a 1 overall pick at QB.
Now we can look at it from there any way we want. We can be afraid that Goff's a bust. We can think Fish is a moron for not starting him. We can think Case is never going to be able to keep doing what he's doing. And so forth and so on. All I'm saying is that at its most basic level what we have is a good problem, because the moment Case falters, if he does that is which like many here I assume he will, we have a backup plan that includes a very talented young QB.
Keenum is the very definition of winning ugly.
Rams do 2 things on offense. Run Gurley and set up shots. Last year they rode Gurley, though they took their shots. This year they pound Gurley regardless of what the defense does and then still take shots.
And because Keenum makes those, the offense contributes to winning.
From Football Outsiders:

The Rams have eight passing plays that gained 30 or more yards this season, all eight coming in the past three games. Per Pro Football Reference, only three teams have more 30-plus-yard passing plays for the whole season. Keenum has gained 330 yards -- exactly 40 percent of his season total of 825 -- on those eight plays.
