In 2012 who was that genious that Fisher replaced?
Lets see, Kroenke bought the team in 2010 and suffered 2 years with Spaznuola, Spazoid and his wonderful coaching methods before canning him and finding a new GM and Coach because not only did he fire Spaz, he fired Beer Drinking Billy Devaney who had to be the worst GM I had ever seen.
The Rams had the number one pick in 2010 and we all know who they drafted. The guy drafted was the consensus pick at number one and even a blind man which Billy as a GM pretty much was could have drafted that kid.
The Rams were awful under Spaz and Devaney. Neither did anything to bring in weapons at the receiver positions to help the new QB.
So Kroenke did fire a losing coach and GM almost immediately.
The Difference in Fisher and Snead is they had a huge project of rebuilding a roster that most of which are out of football now.
They have done a great job in rebuilding the defense and now they are focusing on the offense.
Because of a situation I will not speak of here Fisher had all the time in the world to build this team slowly and the right way.
He also was hamstrung by horrible luck at QB. His starting QB was out injured half the time and Fisher had to rely on back up QBs to play and try to win with.
Foles, hopefully will be the last horrible QB we have starting for the Rams. I like what Keenum showed late last season and this pre-season and I think the Rams can win with Keenum. We shall see.
Fisher does have to win and he knows it. That is why Keenum is the starter today and not Goff.
