I agree with that. That, IMO, is pretty stupid.
I mean, why even mention a potential contract extension if they weren't considering it? That just blows my mind. I don't even understand why he still has a job, let alone an extension.
Kroenke obviously has a good idea of how to run the real estate biz and increase the value of his assets. I don't think many people would question that. How he goes about his business might incite some discussion, however.

If je was confining his "stupid" reference to Kroenke's sticking with Fisher for a 5th year, then he should have said as much, Drew. But he didn't.
My views on the retention of Fisher are well documented.
But that ship has sailed. Making Fisher produce a winning season before he gets extended is now the smart play. IMHO, of course.
