What this is : It is about Fisher and Snead not doing a good Job of bringing a roster together that can win NOW.
They are always Building for the future. Again they are the youngest Team. The excuse for yet another Season without a winning record is already cemented.
If they think this roster was good enough to win with Keenum there was no Need to draft Goff giving up all those picks. They should have kept the picks and used them on positions like WR and S to improve that roster more for 2016 and 2017.
Besides that ÍMHO Goff was not worth all those picks dealt away the Rams now are in the Situation that they did not improve the roster as much as they could.
All they got for those draft picks is a 3rd string QB for 2016.
Yes, Goff might pan out and become the Rams Franchise QB some day, maybe not, but fact is the roster for this year (a year where they judging by their own words was good enough to win with CK) could not be improved as much as possible with the picks traded away.
That for me is the frustrating Thing about the trade up and the Goff pick.
Rams once again put ressources into a gamble for the future instead of strenghening the roster for a run NOW.
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep. Snead said as much when he said "if Keenum had been our QB we'd have made the PO's twice in the past 3-4 years.."
This entire outfit is clueless and they are going to kill any chance Goff has of becoming a legit NFL QB. They have all their eggs in one basket and that nasket is called Todd Gurley. If he goes down it will be a death nail for the entire regime.
Shame on silent Stan for allowing this mess to continue.
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
