There are windows of opportunity for Goff to see playing time this year.
1.) An injury to Keenum.
2.) An injury to Mannion.
3.) Mop up time in the 4th quarter.
They are going slow with him but that doesn't mean he wont have opportunities.
I don't see how giving the Rams their best chance to win first is such a bad idea.
If the record goes south early (0-3) everybody crying for Goff to play will get their wish anyway.
At that point, Mannion will be the starter and Goff will be just one play away from seeing action.
Lets just see how this plays out first. Lets try and win with Keenum and if it doesnt work, Goff will be the only reason we will watch Rams football in November and December.
