Good thoughts posted above...in fact, I think the OP was actually a little too lenient and generous on Brian Quick....
To wit:

The neutral USA entered World War II in December 1941.
Europe, except for Switzerland, Sweden, and Great Britain were occupied by, or dominated by Nazi Germany. Churchill was firing General after British General in Egypt, as Rommel's Afrika Korps were slapping the Brits around in North Africa. The Wehrmacht were settled at the gates of Moscow and Leningrad in December 1941 as Operation Barbarossa had caught Stalin & the Red Army sleeping.
In the Pacific, Japan had knocked over the old weak Colonial Empires of France in Indo China, Britain in Hong Kong and Singapore, Holland in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia today)....and occupied about one third of China. The Japanese were knocking on Australia's door in the North.
The Axis Powers occupied big important chunks of the Planet....and were winning the war in December 1941.
In May 1945, Germany surrended. That was 41 months after Pearl Harbour.
In August 1945 Japan surrended. That was 44 months after the USA entered the war.
Question: How in the H-E-DoubleHockeySticks, is it possible for half the Planet to be liberated, from millions of troops, in LESS time that it takes a grown man to learn a playbook that pertains to a boys game????
It is time for Fisher & Snead to admit they muffed the #33 overall pick in 2012, and move on to more fertile ground.
Brian Quick is not going to go on to some other team and suddenly become Jerry Rice!!! Period. Full Stop!!
Cut him next week, and let's get some or our young WR prospects some more reps in PS. The early cutting of a sloppy vet like Briam VaporLock Quick will also send a stern ANTI 7-9 MESSAGE to currently under-achieving vets like Quinton Coples, Domenique Easley, Cody Davis, Cody Sensabaugh, etc etc
