'Hiding" Williams just doesn't make a helluva lot of sense to me.

If he's one of the best 6, he needs to get his targets and he would deserve to be on the 53. Heaven knows that we have openings at WR.

If he's not one of the best 6 and gets plucked from the PS, so what? Then it would be a small loss.

If it were up to me, I would be force feeding our WR candidates in practice and especially in games. Especially Williams, Thomas, and McRoberts.

Then let the cream rise to the top. We need tall outside WR's that can threaten deep. If one or more are already on our roster, then let's find him.

We can worry about the practice squad when all the dust has settled. That's my take, anyway.
